| Send it to you accounts team who will check it. Sometimes coding notices are based on previous employment circumstances; your accounts team will make sure it is appropriate for your current circumstances, and have HMRC put right any errors. | |

| Yes. Although the requirement to have a company secretary will disappear in the near future, currently every Limited Company MUST have a nominated Company Secretary. | |

| No, the Company Secretary has no special rights, unless you expressly grant them in a contract of employment. | |

| Anyone (within reason) can be a company secretary for a Limited Company. They need no qualifications or previous experience. | |
| VAT - How long will it take for the Revenue to issue a VAT number for may company | |
| VAT numbers are normally issued within six weeks. If the Revenue are particularly busy or have a backlog, it may take longer. Your Accounts Team can give you an indication of the current lead-time. | |
